Ratings & Reviews

  1. José Neves's rating of the film Faubourg St Martin

Cinematography by Alain Levent. "Le petit théâtre de Jean(-Claude) Guiget": in a small microcosm (an hotel), he recreates the art of the novel through a fiction that empties it of any emotional flushes in favor of a lucid cosmogonic vision: an x-ray of the human comedy and of its recreation.

  2. Mariannette's rating of the film Faubourg St Martin

The script is so full of wonderful philosophies, the music, the female characters so nuanced and rich in spirit, strengh, beauty and grace. This was a revelation!

  3. Dave Beynon's rating of the film Faubourg St Martin

Yes, a bit old-school, well it is from '86. Good though, the theatrical-style direction suited the story and characters. Liked the cinematography too. Worth a watch.

  4. CHRISLNY's rating of the film Faubourg St Martin

A little dated but for the pleasure of seeing Patachou and Françoise Fabian, it is worth seeing...

  5. Ally the Manic Listmaker's rating of the film Faubourg St Martin

Kind of a let down, but not too terrible.
