Here come real stars to fill the upper skies,
and here on earth come emulating flies,
that though they never equal stars in size,
(and they were never really stars at heart)
achieve at times a very star-like start.
Only, of course, they can’t sustain the part.
This film had so much potential, but the way the story was twisted just killed it. I wish this was a European film. I really do. It would've been a touching story about coming-of-age and the people you meet who change your life forever. As it is, it's just another Hollywood fuckup.
