Apart from being the honest to god worst piece of badly conceived flick I've seen in a while, it teaches its target demographic (in the 4 to 8 years range autistic dogs) that standing up to authority or whatever really just for the sake of standing up even when objectively wrong is the right thing to do otherwise you're just little bitch. You'd think a director's debut would be with, at the very least, some effort.
Awful cinematography, which is pretty much a staple of mainstream American comedy for some reason, but this was strangely overexposed during the exterior scenes. Occasionally funny if you don't mind dick, fuck and pussy jokes (which I don't), but it also drags through repetitive scenarios over it's short run time.
Within the first ten minutes of the film, Fist Fight clobbers the audience with three penis jokes, two gay jokes, and one joke about race (Ice Cube refers to a pair of pranksters, one African-American, the other Asian, as "Rush Hour"). This isn't simply bad comedy, it's brutally lazy bad comedy.
