Born on December 8, 1894, Florbela Espanca was an unusual woman and out of her time. The film follows her story in a period of literary crisis, in which she could no longer express herself through writing, by the time of the death of her beloved brother.

I don't know if the actors mumbled or if the sound mixing was poorly done, but I couldn't understand some words they said. There were a few tonal inconsistencies, but the movie is mysterious and interesting enough to keep me going. The screenplay was nice and had some beautiful quotes. Plus, I adore Dalila Carmo.
