Ratings & Reviews

  1. CarlosEsquives's rating of the film Forever

  2. msmichel's rating of the film Forever

Honigmann's documentary studies the graves of the artists residing in the Pere Lachaise cemetary, those who act as the grave's custodians and those who come to visit/reflect on those buried there. Some truly lovely vignettes that don't really add up to a tangible goal. Film is certainly poetic and often beautiful to look act with some charming characters that emerge.

  3. Chayanin Tiangpitayagorn's rating of the film Forever

Disappointed. The film has many beautiful moments (such as the embalmer or the writer who interpreted Marcel Proust as an impressionist painter), but cannot convey its own theme good enough, the proof is that the film stuck with Chopin and those statues too much.

Next time in Paris, i will not return without having gone to the Père-Lachaise cemetery!
