A comedy about Allie and Harper and their needlessly difficult journey to the beach.
2014 | Winner: Narrative Feature (SXSW Grand Jury Award)
Even understanding the motivation and intentions of the filmmakers who plunge into this very New Yorker microbudget mockery, I couldn’t avoid being stupefied by its pathetic occurrences and futile tones. (1.5 stars)
A comedy of errors. Literally. Mistake after mistake and very worth watching them unfold. The girls are so detached from reality but that is exactly what makes this film work.
This movie is a barrel of laughs, and it didn’t cost me $200 either! A wonderful portrayal of privileged white girls in their 20s. Such sharp wit, humor, and character development.
I can relate.
My least favorite Kickstarter-ed film. :(
