  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Four of the Apocalypse

Le cinéma bis dans toute sa splendeur mais aussi ses propres limites... www.cinefiches.com

  2. Samuel T.'s rating of the film Four of the Apocalypse

Another Fabio-Fulci tag-team equating to the worst dubbing in history, and all in all, just bad. But so good. An essential chomp for any Fulci fan. You understand...

  3. Nachtreich's rating of the film Four of the Apocalypse

  4. Pymo's rating of the film Four of the Apocalypse

  5. Robert Karol's rating of the film Four of the Apocalypse

A spaghetti western take on Brett Harte, the movie is a little uneven (and has an annoying soundtrack), but Fulci does some daring things as a director with composition and POV. The sequence in Aldoville is very moving and Fordian.

  6. Jaspar Lamar Crabb's rating of the film Four of the Apocalypse

Featuring some of Lucio Fulci's best direction (not sure that's really saying a whole lot).

  7. HKFanatic's rating of the film Four of the Apocalypse

Not the greatest spaghetti Western of all time but I enjoyed the use of four colorful archetypes who all have a lot to say as opposed to the typical lone gunslinger who barely speaks a word. The soundtrack is a completely on-the-nose psychedelic folk pop explosion - you'll either dig it or hate it.

  8. rllr's rating of the film Four of the Apocalypse

Since realizing that - besides the sadistic Chaco - all 4 main protagonists are actually very mentally unstable, I find this Fulci more disturbing with each viewing. The last sentimental scene with Bunny always gets to me and is actually very beautifully shot.

  9. Christopher R. Smith's rating of the film Four of the Apocalypse

Lucio Fulci directed this superior spaghetti western, unique in its genre for the genuine sympathy it has for its well-drawn central characters. A strong script, colorful cast, and Fulci's stylish visuals make this one of the best of its kind. The on-the-nose folk music soundtrack is something of a hinderance, though.

  10. Scout Tafoya's rating of the film Four of the Apocalypse

Sober and beautifully shot epic of misery. It's artistry is undone by the heinous dubbing. Dubbing Lynne Frederick is a fucking crime. That shit makes Jesus cry. There are moments when this film soars but only because it shot its feet off.
