  • EdieEmm's rating of the film Frame 394

Leave it to Canadians to disguise an immaculately crafted, taut heavy-hitter as a harmless, good-natured short. A concise and relevant story of racialized police violence in the overlapping contexts of the 'state of exception' and of digitally mediated society, hitting on so many pertinent practical & philosophical questions of law & justice that it should probably be shown in every Law 101. Really solid filmmaking.
