  2. Wee Hunk's rating of the film Freebie and the Bean

You know how your grandparents had a tendency to say racist/homophobic things? Well, this is mainstream movie-making with racism and homophobia galore! Luxuriate in the hatred and fear, as a cop puts 27 bullets into the stereotypical gay killer. I absolutely adore Alan Arkin and Alex Rocco. Note: If you see a woman eating an apple on the street then she's a prostitute. Oh Grandpa!

  3. Konrad Szlendak's rating of the film Freebie and the Bean

Quirky cop comedy with a lot of zigzagging, nevertheless very entertaining. This film shows an approach that would be used later to shoot @The Stuntman@

  4. tylergfoster's rating of the film Freebie and the Bean

A buddy-cop comedy made by an insane person. Packed with chase scenes that epitomize "anarchy," with a good measure of non-PC 1970s racial and sexual jokes to boot.

  5. El Biffo's rating of the film Freebie and the Bean

I loved this film when I was 12. It set the standard for every stupid 1970's film! Cinematography by the great Laszlo Kovacs, one half of the "New Wave of Hungarian Cinematography". The other was Vilmos Zsigmond.

  7. Jaspar Lamar Crabb's rating of the film Freebie and the Bean

An absolute classic of the '70s

  8. Harry Rossi's rating of the film Freebie and the Bean

  9. Donald R. Monroe's rating of the film Freebie and the Bean

How could a movie with Santino Corleone, the awesome old guy from Little Miss Sunshine, and shot by one of the most iconic cinematographers of the 1970s be so shitty?

  10. Stephen Campbell's rating of the film Freebie and the Bean

Finally on DVD this cop movie classic ticks all the boxes
