GIE is one of the best biopic from Indonesian cinema. Although, it's not entirely accurate, director Riri Riza still able to impress me with his interpretation of Soe Hok Gie's life from the beginning. GIE is also has an intriguing narration from its lead actor - Nicholas Saputra. It didn't just serve as an extra exposition to its plot. But it also serves as an invitation for audience to dive into Gie's sub-conscious
