Ratings & Reviews

  1. crystal meff's rating of the film Gilles' Wife

Every cowardly, murdering cop who shoots unarmed black boys should watch this and put himself into Emmanuell Devos' character's shoes.

  2. Weston Campbell's rating of the film Gilles' Wife

Smartly shot and and unyielding in its principles, psychological drama done right.

  3. the infallible foodstamps's rating of the film Gilles' Wife

  4. Lorna Singh's rating of the film Gilles' Wife

Emmanuelle Devos is so talented that, with not much dialogue, her expressions convey her emotions and there are many in this sad story set in a French village in the 1930's. If only the script had done more to show and explain the desperate passion felt by her husband for his sister in law.
