Our take

Stuart Murdoch of Belle and Sebastian fame made his filmmaking debut with a tender tale of teenage salvation found through melodies and like-minded friends. Featuring an original soundtrack with hints of 1960s yé-yé, this wistful musical is everything you’d expect from the sensitive indie icon.
