  1. kartikarg's rating of the film Gold

ah its ok, watchable, i like the curtain

  2. J.J. 'Jake' Gittes's rating of the film Gold

What comes into my mind 1- a man who forgets what's the most important thing in life 2- the making of Mr. McConaughey to look as ugly & ridicilous as possible is extremely disturbing & doesn't help at all to develop the character of Wells; i.e. why not Paul Giamatti? 3- although inspired by true events you are wondering what’s real & what isn’t. All in all only just entertaining. Not convincing. 2,5 stars.

  3. JoãoMoura's rating of the film Gold

Foi uma tentativa de ser um Wolf of Wall Street, mas ponto mais para o Matt e para a sua barriga.

  4. doublelife91's rating of the film Gold

  5. NUGA's rating of the film Gold

The first thing to point ou is, of course, way too much "fictionalized" story it tells from the source material, wich is, by all means, not as black and white anyway. And that should be at least ok, if those changes where either made a in a Kubrickean way or at least for entertainment purposes, but alas it didn't resulting in a rather boring and somewhat confusing watch only slighty faded by a ocasional funny perform

  6. Mr.Rager's rating of the film Gold

Another movie about ups and downs and of course based on a true story. After an unsettled beginning the plot became more interesting and more compact. Also the acting grows insanely, i super liked how McConaughey juggle in this part and Edgar Ramirez becomes day by day one of my favorites. The ending is ok, actually the whole plot is ok but a little bit alternated from the true events. 7/10.

  7. Mark Tallo's rating of the film Gold

  13. gematoma's rating of the film Gold

director: do you know this awesome story about gold? let's make a movie? producer: ok, what's the idea? director: what if fat, bald McConaughey with bad teeth... producer: shut up and take my money

  14. jbizarro's rating of the film Gold

Não é Scorsese quem quer. Ainda assim boas interpretações de Matthew McConaughey, Edgar Ramírez e Bryce Dallas Howard.

  15. Steve Pulaski's rating of the film Gold

A difficult film to really penetrate and understand, but what do you expect from a story that's been so arbitrarily lobotomized, not to mention transported into a totally different decade? Matthew McConaughey throws himself into a fictitious character moreso than some actors throw themselves into real-life ones, but the extravagance of recent neo crime-dramas is exchanged for a story that's ripoffed and uneven.

  16. Ethan's rating of the film Gold

It'd be more like 3.5 stars here, it's a tough one to rate. Slow in some parts and no where near as extravagant as the trailer led you to believe but McCounaughey gives a solid performance here, Bryce Dallas Howard is as sexy as ever, and Edgar Ramirez offers some good support. All in all it's worth a watch.

  17. Filipe F. Coutinho's rating of the film Gold

A strong performance by the endlessly watchable Matthew McConaughey injects some energy in this poor man's version of Wolf of Wall Street. Gaghan tells an interesting story, but doesn't know how to make it fly.
