Mostly coherent plot. Bond investigates Goldfinger and gets escorted along for the ride by knowing just enough about the master plan to be disruptive if he is eliminated. Best title theme. Maybe most sexist(say goodbye, Dink, man talk) and homophobic(the barn "seduction" of Pussy Galore).
7.5/10. Deservedly one of the very best-known Bond movies, "Goldfinger" has Connery wearing some of the finest Savile Row tailoring ever seen on film. Of course there's silliness here. But there's also a lot of entertaining conceptual originality. And those opening shots of the Miami Beach hotel are breathtaking historical stuff. Watching the BluRay of this is better than leafing through a good photo book.
