Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Goya's Ghosts

  2. Terry_Moby's rating of the film Goya's Ghosts

3.6 A weird tale told in a traditional (but exquisite) way. Goya´s character never really comes to life, but Bardem, Portman and Lonsdale shine... and the sound design is great!

  3. Mohammad Ebrahimian's rating of the film Goya's Ghosts

Forman finally directed a second movie worth watching!

  6. Bibi Lamy's rating of the film Goya's Ghosts

Horrifiant ce qu’a fait l’Inquisition Le film le rend très bien, et Xavier Barden joue le méchant, tellement bien que c’est insupportable

  9. beyza's rating of the film Goya's Ghosts

Javier Bardem kötü adamlığıyla hayran bıraktı resmen. ama tabi Natalie Portman'ı üst seviye oyunculuğuna rağmen zombie mod görünce bi içlendim hüzünlendim insanlığımdan utandım. Lafın kısası hoş film

  11. waad's rating of the film Goya's Ghosts

  12. Helder Costa's rating of the film Goya's Ghosts

  13. In An Expression Of The Inexpressible's rating of the film Goya's Ghosts

The naration is really bad - if felt like the happening was handed in a tact, the big span of time that Forman wanted to present is made totally strange and unconvincing, nothing really grabs you. We can't relate to the stories that collapse together, because they are told from a far directors view.

  14. Narda's rating of the film Goya's Ghosts

Special mention to Bardem (the greatest not-so-old contemporary actor), but this time Forman failed.

  15. Pierluigi Puccini's rating of the film Goya's Ghosts

Master Spanish painter Francisco de Goya is confined here to be a mere middle man, a MacGuffin in a tasteless soap opera set in the midst of two centuries. Milos Forman is a good director, but neither he nor his co-writer, the famous Buñuel collaborator Jean-Claude Carrière could follow a truly significant period of Goya's life. It pretends to cover a big span of time, but falls short.
