  1. Arf's rating of the film Gozu

  2. Diego Ravazzolo's rating of the film Gozu

  3. Henri de Corinth's rating of the film Gozu

Fifteen years ago everyone was agog for Miike. These days the films mostly just seem to be oddity for its own sake.

  4. Wee Hunk's rating of the film Gozu

Funny, crazy, but filled with weird long static shots that could have been cut. The use of music is reminiscent of Lynch, but those were inconsistent. Good ideas, but bad editing.

  5. Ghostman's rating of the film Gozu

One of the craziest films in the history of cinema. Absurd, surreal, hilarious and beyond fucked up. Miike is a genius.

  6. wiwitaek's rating of the film Gozu

Overall, it's a great movie, but for me, it was ruined by one little scene somewhere a quarter of its runtime: when his so called brother suddenly dissapear from the car, and it shows through the glass. It just a complete garbage. And I have to say, the movie is nothing to compared to David Lynch's work. But still, it's intriguing and thought provoking

  7. Balthaz21's rating of the film Gozu

  8. Mariana Basílio's rating of the film Gozu

não poderia pensar num final de filme melhor que este

  9. Bernardo Crastes's rating of the film Gozu

Extra star for that ending. Now, what have I just watched? It was all nerve-wrecking, creepy, hilarious and everything at the same time, but overly disjointed. A bit more cohesiveness would have made it better. Another question: got milk?

  10. Fabio Osvaldo Carta's rating of the film Gozu

  11. Cependant's rating of the film Gozu

Bruit qui grogne et qui grésille.

  12. Olivier Mouchel's rating of the film Gozu

Un Miike de la grande époque où il s'adonnait au cinéma trash sans limite. Un vrai cinéaste punk comme il n'en existe plus beaucoup. Avec Gozu, vous en aurez un bon exemple.

  13. Tiago Inácio's rating of the film Gozu

If Lynch and Cronenberg went to Japan and had an acid trip while on vacation there, it would be Gozu. one of Takashi Miike's finest.

  14. Mister No's rating of the film Gozu

  15. Ostermyers's rating of the film Gozu

Journey into the bright parts of the human brain. Gozu...Gozu...

  16. Richard!'s rating of the film Gozu

Gozu is a total mindfuck about a young yakuza attempting to find his boss and while trying to do so endures situations both deeply disturbing and totally hilarious. While no the kind of movie that Miike came to be associated with, certain stalwarts of Miike movies are here: lactating breasts, sexual denial and dark, dark humor etc.

  17. Jason Av's rating of the film Gozu

  18. Chris's rating of the film Gozu

surreal but a bit lacking compared to miike's other works

  19. Morris Bros.'s rating of the film Gozu

  20. J. O.'s rating of the film Gozu

A haunting circle of madness, the depths of which nobody seems to really understand. It warrants multiple viewings, and is certainly one of Miike's best efforts, but that doesn't mean it's decipherable. It's more of an experience. Darkly humourous, violent, disturbing - truly a nightmare.

  21. mikong's rating of the film Gozu

Trip to fairy land of gore and my kind of craziness

  22. Federico Di Folco's rating of the film Gozu

  23. Gabriele Taddei's rating of the film Gozu

Film malato che conferma Miike come Lynch giapponese, e alcune scene rimangono veramente impresse, difficile da comprendere

  24. Valentin Alexandru's rating of the film Gozu
