    Despite being a 1967 film, the storytelling-- or lack thereof-- of Grand Slam feels like a modern, mainstream popcorn action film. It's purely plot heavy, with little attention paid to relationships, backgrounds, and emotions of its characters apart from one-notes only used to move it along. The heist itself is confusing as to the procedure since it never fully explains it. The final end twist is clever, though,
