  • Bob's rating of the film Grim Prairie Tales: Hit the Trail... to Terror

Oddly enough, most interesting parts are in between the story tales. Mostly because of James Earl Jones and Brad Dourif as well as nice atmosphere of night prairie surroundings combined with eerie twangs. But also, it's because the stories themselves fall short as blunt preparations for actual horror that never happens; although motifs of moralism and culture are used more ambitiously than in an average horror movie.
