Ratings & Reviews

  1. Alex Holland's rating of the film Gunga Din

They don't make em like they used to, is so true of Gunga Din. I smiled all the way through this film, it's such a great classic adventure film, with likeable characters & fun action, very much in the same vein as another Rudyard Kipling adaptation The Man Who Would Be King. Those who've seen this will know how this film influenced the temple of doom. But aside from it influencing indy, this film still stands tall.

  3. rado's rating of the film Gunga Din

It's still a riot and difference to all the action-adventures it inspired is the unique sense of humour.

  4. Howard Orr's rating of the film Gunga Din

Funny, exciting and entertaining. A mythical view of the British in India, a sort of companion piece to John Ford's Cavalry Trilogy (complete with Victor McLaglen!).

  5. AKFilmFan's rating of the film Gunga Din

A perfect blend of comedy, action, and adventures in this "Temple of Doom" inspiring film!

  6. Spencer Draper's rating of the film Gunga Din

    The definition of great adventure.

  7. Blake GOBLE's rating of the film Gunga Din

It's feels like the earliest of action comedies. Yet, it still one of the best. A grand-scale entertainment.
