Synopsis

Paul, a Communist organizer working in Paris, shoots a coffee cup from the hand of fat capitalist Maurice because the banker’s lifted pinky finger annoys him. Disguised as a policeman in order to elude the authorities, Paul takes refuge in the apartment of Marianne, the banker’s estranged wife.
