What are people saying?

  • Anthony De Luca's rating of the film Heat Wave

3.6 A little subdued by Gosha's standards, that is until the end credits when the film explodes into life with a totally unexpected and amazingly cool retro graphics sequence that blew my head off. The film is decent enough, but it's worth watching just for that 30 second burst. I'll say no more.

  • ginobartolomi's rating of the film Heat Wave

'Heat Wave' has real potential, a case where fine tuned editing would have been extremely beneficial. There's evidence of masterful direction by Gosha, no doubt (my favorite of which is the opening scene set on a mountain at sunset, the sun burning in the horizon, and our nude, tatted heroine dousing herself with buckets of water in slo-mo). Generally, a good film, though. A little cheesy, but pretty entertaining.
