Just terrible entry in the series that again finds Miramax taking an unused non-related script and adding pinhead and the cenubites like one would add a water enhancer. Dean Winters is just terrible here and Ashley Laurence badly used. Not a shred of terror in sight. \ /Us
Not a good movie by any means but here are ideas and intentions here that holds some promise. The reintroduction of Kirsty is pretty good and her character is used in an interesting way. Like many of the other Hellraiser sequels there is a whole lot of promise but not much in the way of actual delivery. Still a curiosity worth checking out if you´re a Hellraiser fan.
Pretty much the exact same plot as Inferno, but in general, better executed. The same allusions to Jacob's Ladder, but with a surprisingly complicated flashback/dreamplay narrative that suggests shades of Memento alongside the subsequent psychological thriller The Machinist. Bota scores points for making a contemporary horror that is slow and subtle and maintains an emphasis on emotions rather than gore.
