  1. kit duckworth's rating of the film Hester Street

very simple. some notes: 1. how when gitl removes her wig to put on a scarf to cover her hair the camera moves away too; we don't see her real hair until she is ready to reveal it 2. the time given to the divorce ceremony, letting it breathe 3. doesn't try to make itself understandable to gentiles; as one, it felt at times difficult to read, which is a good thing

  3. Mike Spence's rating of the film Hester Street

It's all about the moment when a guy yawns during an emotionally devastating scene.
