  1. lewis_longshanks's rating of the film Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows

A personal-take on the lead-up to Survivor Series '97, including the infamous screwjob in Montreal. The material in this documentary can be controversial. We see a delicate perspective of wrestling that makes us realise the meaning of Bret's fallout with the WWE, as well as realise how close the company actually was to him. It is only a shame his departure spelled the beginning of the end for his career.

  3. J.B.'s rating of the film Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows

I'm not particularly interested in professional wrestling, but this film touches on what does interest me: what occurs behind the scenes. Paul Jay does a wonderful job of showing what working in the business feels like... the pain, peril, tensions, sense of community, and, most of all, the sad story of a man that still believes in absolute morality trying to live in a world that is increasingly relativistic.

  4. Matt Kilgore's rating of the film Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows

Really a brilliant doc on the thin lines between fiction, art, reality, media, celebrity... Captures some spectacular moments.
