Ratings & Reviews

  1. surgery-ethic's rating of the film Home

LOVE how the metaphor of isolation / alienation is described in this movie with the motorway and its cars, LOVE how each family member react at its own way, LOVE how you cannot feel at home if you are an individual in mass society, but always in search of.

  2. Marta's rating of the film Home

  3. Clarisse Lemaitre's rating of the film Home

  5. camille's rating of the film Home

  6. Terry_Moby's rating of the film Home

Original and implausible... An allegory of ... something important, I guess.

  7. monk's rating of the film Home

Fantastic acting for all of the actors, and the story is simply brilliant...

  8. Frastro's rating of the film Home

Toll herausgearbeitete Charaktere.

  9. carolinemenges's rating of the film Home

Interessante Idee, eigentlich... Auch super gespielt und alles.

  10. Nadia Marolda's rating of the film Home

Great idea but not convinced at all by the movie.

  11. trugschluss's rating of the film Home

A welly staged parable about the snags, stasis and departure in a sometimes godardlike world.

  12. Victor Gonzalez's rating of the film Home

The claustrophobia of a highway taking its toll on a French family has moments of pure cinematic beauty.

  13. Peppino's rating of the film Home

  14. Ali Mossawat's rating of the film Home

  15. antoniam's rating of the film Home

  16. dave gunn's rating of the film Home

Misophonia, agoraphobia, hypochondria, OCD; it seemed so many complex disorders got brought out as a result of this highway intruding on their peaceful, isolated lives together. Their family is sweet in their togetherness. This was incredibly interesting and amazingly acted.

  17. forksclovetofu's rating of the film Home

downright painful in its claustrophobia and constant impending danger but leavened by eccentricity and a joyous buoyancy that is never really quashed. perhaps prone to overanalysis... taken as a dark comedy, this shines a bit more brightly. in any case: beautifully filmed and wonderfully acted.

  18. klofter's rating of the film Home

a thinking man's "Dogtooth" almost. Engrossing, fascinating and ultimately devastating. Even though the film never pretends to be anything more than a thought experiment. Real life characters and/or situations these are not...

  19. Joe Curtin's rating of the film Home

  20. Noah Lethbridge's rating of the film Home

Bleak movie. Reminded me of "The Seventh Continent."

  21. George Livingston's rating of the film Home

Captivating film. Encapsulates a situation we've all felt before. Stuck in a place we can't leave and angry for it, with no one to blame. Each family member responds to the situation in a unique, but futile way. The editing is excellent and makes a rich world out of a simple roadside house.

  22. Aurelie's rating of the film Home

  23. Weston Campbell's rating of the film Home

Terrific examination of the pastoral idyll collapsing under observation and the alienating effects of modernity on a family both as a group and as individuals.

  24. Francisco Luna, Jr.'s rating of the film Home

Réalisait Ursula Meier un distinct Home Français; fût déplaisant voir et ouïr.
