  1. El Biffo's rating of the film Hong Kong Trilogy: Preschooled Preoccupied Preposterous

    Cinema is, for me, first and foremost visual art. So it doesn't bother me that Christopher Doyle's film is not entirely cohesive. His photography is beautiful, and he one of the most important cinematographers working today. Part of this film is a document of the Hong Kong Occupy Movement. The rest of it is mostly preposterous. But that is the intention. If the content is a distraction, just look at the pictures :-)
