Ratings & Reviews

  1. HKFanatic's rating of the film Hostage

About as good as late era Bruce Willis vehicles get, even if it sometimes feels like a remix of Willis' past hits (a little "Die Hard" here, a little "6th Sense" there). It's a shame French director Florent Emilio Siri's career never amounted to much, as "The Nest" and "Hostage" are two of the best action films of the early aughts; you can't fault Siri's slick, widescreen compositions and fluid action sequences.

  3. Terry_Moby's rating of the film Hostage

**1/2 - Every character whether good or bad is deeply motivated in his or her actions by family matters. Hollywood myth No.1: the picture book family (that never was, nor is, nor will ever be).
