I'm never going to adore Wes Anderson- no film of his can ever be spectacular with that thick smog of emotional detachment, for me anyway he peaked at The Royal Tenenbaums.

  21. Marina C.'s rating of the film Hotel Chevalier

So beautiful and heart warming despite the layer of hurt and disappointment in their relationship - it added complexity to Jack's character and plotline that had felt a little step below Francis or Peter's in Darjeeling. The rest is, as ever, Wes Anderson and gorgeous.
