Trippy; sometimes very funny; nightmarish. Superb cinematography. Crisp and simple plot idea, with downtown Houston the perfect stage—impenetrable, colossal concrete structures in a glaring Camusian sun, symbol of the futility of the desperate hero's quest. Great performance from Tukur, but also from Dillahunt (whose crass character is a bit too clingy to believe) and other actors. Oddly overlooked. Find and watch!
