  • maurino's rating of the film Human Behaviour

i've just re-watched after years....oh, how i miss this bjork and this gondry....an age where making videoclip was really an art, and there were men spending money for the clips: papier-mache's moon, carton box houses, crazy fades, furry dresses, svankmajer references, the cccp's spacesuit, big peluche killer bear. it's a world and a way to perceive the song that doesn't exist anymore.

  • Adam Whybray's rating of the film Human Behaviour

An utterly beguiling paintbox vision. Watching this I just want to run away and live in the woods with Björk. Painfully delicate yet as stompy as a toddler. Gondry has absolute respect for Björk's worldview and translates it to film w/ great dexterity and charm. The effect is cute-sinister as the art of Junko Mizuno or Marie Pommepuy. I love how generous Björk is with her facial expressions! She has the best of faces
