Our take

Co-written, co-directed and co-starring underground auteur Bruce LaBruce, this homage to Hollywood’s Golden Age—a postmodern, pornographic revision of Billy Wilder’s _Sunset Boulevard—is a bizarre, beguiling avant-garde oddity. LaBruce’s infamous breakthrough, and a classic of 90’s queer cinema.
