    Starts as a rather conventional hagiography of ikebana and academic in tone too, yet as it progresses (and a 30min film can indeed demonstrate exposition of main concepts) it reaches great heights as it explores more abstract structures and likens brilliantly death, the Atomic Age to the redeeming power of Art in replenishing (and rescuing) the human condition. Thus, the finale is the work of a sheer genius!
