A montage of rapid-fire shots of nature perfectly sequenced to provide a unique portrait of that on which we depend but so flippantly abuse. The Islamic chant provides an aural counterpoint that similarly removes us from our comfort zone. An 8 minute analogue masterpiece that surely was years in the making - and would hold it's own against modern day digital trickery. Simply and literally stunning.
Accompanying an ecstatic Islam chant the film shows organic forms in blurry images, their editing pace varying with the chant's pace. More a hypnotic experience than a film it sure tests the viewer's patience. The psychedelic colours in the film's second half were a touch too much for my taste.
