Ratings & Reviews

  1. pumpkindraconis's rating of the film Innocence

No hope, and full of hope. Demirkubuz transfers this idea through a intense melancholy, in silence yet striking. This is real. Rewatch after Kader

  6. güneycan's rating of the film Innocence

Well, one could say that the director hits the rock bottom of arabesque tragedy but.. I mean, how could you disagree with him on what he is projecting? How could you judge the characters without feeling bad about yourself? I couldn't.

  7. banu's rating of the film Innocence

I can't recognize Haluk Bilginer when he first showed up. (shame for me) Impressive acting from him and Derya Alabora.

  12. YÜCEL AYKAN's rating of the film Innocence

Uğur'un Zagor'a Bekir'in Uğur'a duyduğu şeye aşk denilebilir mi? Görüntü, ışık, senaryo, teknik hiçbir konuya girmeden (Kötü olduklarından değil) izlemesi elzem bir film.

  13. Murat Erdem's rating of the film Innocence

    Türk sineması klasiklerinden.

  15. john saenz's rating of the film Innocence

  16. msmichel's rating of the film Innocence

An excellent script by director Zeki Demirkubuz which follows a recently released long incarcerated man as he struggles to make a place for himself in the world. A crime of family honour led to his jail time and he soon finds himself involved in a love triangle of sorts and as a possible salvation for a mute child. Though often putting one ill at ease the film is a masterful look at choice and behaviour.

  22. ilker cengiz's rating of the film Innocence

Did you know there is a connection between Kader (Destiny -http://mubi.com/films/21413) and Masumiyet (Innocence)? In Masumiyet, Yusuf meets a couple Ugur and Bekir in a hotel and becomes part of an extraordinary love triangle (as synopsis goes). And, although released 10 years later, Kader is about how the obsessive relationship between Ugur and Bekir started when they were young.
