Ratings & Reviews

  1. mpho3's rating of the film InRealLife

Kind of a shapeless documentary with an interesting array of talking heads intermixed with hand-wringing, headshake-provoking interviews with technology-tethered youth. If I fault the film for anything, it's for forcing me to know about Tobuscus.

  2. Zach Closs's rating of the film InRealLife

Laughably fear-mongering alarmist garbage, from its opening moments on. Paints exceptional, extreme cases as the norm, with case studies so archetypal they feel staged (and probably were). The ending image, of phones metaphorically "fucking" as they're bumped together by the gay couple is probably the most unintentionally hilarious, disturbing thing I've ever seen. In 20 odd years, it'll look like "Reefer Madness."

  3. dave gunn's rating of the film InRealLife

What is this documentary about? The Internet, broadly speaking. It is unfocused and lacks any voice or core statement. It's just random aspects of the Internet touched upon. Some information is interesting, but the film as a whole is pointless.
