What are people saying?

  • Richmond Hill's rating of the film Intensive Care

A typically mordant and wry exercise from Bennett on lack of achievement, hopes dashed and potential unfulfilled - life, in other words. As with much of Bennett's self-penned work there's no great bonfire or revelation as a conclusion - all you need know or observe is there all the way. It's that lack of neat resolution in his best work that chimes with life as we lead it, not wish it.
