  1. Stephane Tanaka's rating of the film It Was in May

  2. José Neves's rating of the film It Was in May

4,5. A movie at least unusual: starting with a documentary section, without off, with battle scenes of the 2nd World War, moves to an idyllic context almost without reference to later discover a speechless horror in a concentration camp, literary evoked through the character of a Polish ex-prisoner, to end in an unusual parallel editing between images of the Holocaust and scenes of everyday urban life. Rousing.
