  2. P Teddy Sawyer's rating of the film It's All So Quiet

Quietly, in tiny increments, men encountering the progress of their lives

  3. JOHN ATHERTON's rating of the film It's All So Quiet

Great capture of time and emotions and and real life just moving forward for these characters who are solitary but very real.

  4. SiIencio's rating of the film It's All So Quiet

From the deceptive beginning to the unexceptional end the film is a strenuous journey depicted with austere economy. Leopold heavily relies on the gravitas of the late Jeroem Willems and the depiction of an oppresive but lucid mood crafted with frugal resources to concoct an unusual story. However despite early suggestions of a philosophical subject matter, the film cheekily hides a less than impressive leitmotif.

  9. saitosouta's rating of the film It's All So Quiet

Leopold's last film "Brownian Movement" is like a beautiful picture in a best way. But instead of that element, this movie is fulfilled with desolate atmosphere, gloomy plot & desperate voidness. As that title unspoken is all about hatred, solitude, pain, anxiety, oldage, body & love. But abundantly characters' emotions rise to the surface with silence. What a devastatingly moving film.

  10. Trickstian Shantih's rating of the film It's All So Quiet

Only a Dutch woman filmmaker could have understood the light glow of a man undercurrents.

  11. Carlos Filipe Freitas's rating of the film It's All So Quiet

It’s indeed an interesting story, yet very arduous to endure. (2.5 stars)
