Through all its shortcomings, I did find some enjoyment in Jeepers Creepers 3. It clearly wants to give fans something they can appreciate, it just doesn't always know the best route. Perhaps the stumble comes before the regrouping and the alleged sequels Salva and company have planned surprise us even half as much as the original did. If that's the case, Jeepers Creepers 3 might be a small price to pay.
At least Creeper actor Jonathan Breck is still having a ball behind the monster makeup; this production certainly doesn't know how to have any. An "in-between" entry that leaves more questions than it has any intent of answering, this thirteen-year wait sputters out well before the first act ends and staggers the rest of the way. Another example of why the "Jeepers Creepers" series should have stayed at the one film.
