After 23 horrifying days of gorging on human flesh, an ancient creature known as the Creeper embarks on a final voracious feeding frenzy, terrorizing a group of varsity basketball players, cheerleaders and coaches stranded on a remote highway.

I feel like the idea of a Jeepers Creepers sequel (and now a third, forthcoming) is a good one, but the execution kind of fell flat for me. Nearly the whole film takes place on a bus that's broken down in the middle of nowhere, with a bunch of ragey high school kids as opposed to Justin Long's more mature, structured character. The movie does make light of the Creeper more here, but that's about all it's worth.
Is the scene where the creeper is disguising itself as a scarecrow a refrence to Jesus on the cross, because the other two scarecrows to its sides and it being up on a higher cross and central remind me of the crucifixion of Jesus and the two theives. Any thoughts on this?
