Ratings & Reviews

  1. bryanvmh's rating of the film Jeffrey

A great deal of fun for gay white dudes in NYC in the 90s

  2. Kelvin Thompson's rating of the film Jeffrey

Essentially the gay community's answer to 'Annie Hall', 'Jeffrey' BASICALLY abandons its plot and characters, turning its protagonist into a cipher for other representative figures in America's gay narrative to react to. But it's fairly well-acted (Sigourney Weaver and Kathy Najimy, in particular, turn in memorable performances for their scene together) and it has a lot of ideas to espouse in place of character.
