Ratings & Reviews

  1. Henrique Amud's rating of the film Joe's Violin

A well-meaning little film about the strength people have to stay alive. It is, in fact, a bit awkward and it never really goes anywhere, but not banal, as it was suggested here. Not banal at all. No matter how many refugees or holocaust stories you might have heard or watched, they are all unique and now more than ever need to be told again.

  2. smokescreen's rating of the film Joe's Violin

Featuring maybe the sweetest 12-year-old I've ever seen on screen.

  3. Eric Rucker's rating of the film Joe's Violin

A lovely situation with wonderful human feeling but a banal film.
