Ratings & Reviews

  1. msmichel's rating of the film Kajaki

aka Kilo Two Bravo Katis' debut feature is a visceral and oft-riveting account of a British squadron in 2006 Afghanistan that find themselves trapped in a gully full of land mines. A war film without a visual enemy and nary a shot fired, the film plays on the aftermath of land mines and survival in the direst of circumstances. Made thriftily but not at the expense of suspense or script. Good calling card.

  2. Violins By Night's rating of the film Kajaki

I'm not a massive fan of war-themed films, but this is different. There is true artistry to behold here that begins and ends almost entirely with the actors - I believed every brutal, raw and moving second.
