  1. ejonline's rating of the film Kill!

There's really nothing new here - the plot and the various tropes deployed have all been used before. However, what made this work for me was the fact that it clearly was having fun with the whole set-up. The title alone tells you that it is a bit of a goof. More importantly, the location is almost the Platonic Ideal of the "deserted town as arena for violence." I can't think of a more wind-blown town than this one.

  6. Jeremiah Johnson's rating of the film Kill!

Its not funny and the action set pieces are clumsy.

  7. M Klein's rating of the film Kill!

    Loved this, a real hoot.

  8. Matt's rating of the film Kill!

A fun mix of katana action and dry-humor.

  9. Ryan Estabrooks's rating of the film Kill!

Great samurai film! Entertaining and interesting all the way through, I was never bored at all with this. Tatsuya Nakadai is amazing in this as well, his screen presence is undisputed. One of the coolest things about this film is how it mixes great action scenes along with humor and a whole western feel added to it.

  10. Crap Monster's rating of the film Kill!

Interesting divergence from Sanjuro, but at the end of the day, I still prefer the latter...
