Absolutely disgusting!! A Korean woman murders a 15 year old Black girl and there's a video of the murder as well as witnesses and a White judge gives her a TICKET?! You move the trial of White officers who beat a Black man almost to death and the White judge moves the trial to a all white suburb?! This goes beyond any sense of desency! I'm just really angry. It ain't right. "Justice is blind". Yes, to Black people.
Achieves so much more than many other documentaries by just showing the events through archival footage. Whatever your stance about the riots, this is a must see. Some scenes are very telling, like the incredibly passive Bush, who at times just seemed confused and out of it and like he couldn't grasp how the situation ended up where it did. Honestly, the awful destruction doesn't need any commentary or talking heads.
