  7. msmichel's rating of the film Labyrinth of Lies

'Do you want everyone in Germany asking if their father was a Nazi?' 'Yes!' Ricciarelli's first feature looks at Germany from 1958 when a young district attorney helped force a country look at its own recent history and culpability in its involvement in Auschwitz. A new generation had already forgotten or been failed to be taught that their country had done more than lose a war. Deftly plotted ambitious film.

  8. Carlos Filipe Freitas's rating of the film Labyrinth of Lies

Adopting tidy visuals and swinging between Hollywood’s standard twitches and TV series’ monotone routines, “Labyrinth of Lies” lacks intrigue and never manages to really speak to the heart.
