A very underrated film, an homage to "Mean Streets" that manages to hit many of the same dramatic notes very effectively, with a similarly explosive ending. It also coined the insult term "Muckaferguson" in the same way that the Scorsese film invented "Mook". Sudden violence out of nowhere and realistic performances of seemingly improvised material give the film an almost documentary-like quality.
