  1. msmichel's rating of the film Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen

Some solid action scenes but film definately suffers from that "|been there done that" kind of feeling. Nothing really new or of note here with Yen for the first time i think looking his age. Many of the action scenes not up to par in comparison to his younger work. A little too much 'Casablanca" and not enough "Fist of Legend".

  2. b1gfatho's rating of the film Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen

Look, it's not any sort of groundbreaking, and not really much of a story, but we rarely get that from kung fu movies anyway. What this does have is some absolutely amazing action choreography by Donnie Yen, and really, that's enough.

  3. SlinkyLi's rating of the film Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen

If Batman and Captain America and Sleeping Dogs were all combined into a quasi-historical fiction film starring Chinese Tom Cruise (who usually does better) who does a decent Bruce Lee impression, it would be OK.

  4. Michael Harbour's rating of the film Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen

Very good Hong Kong action film with some brutal fight action, sufficient character development, and a well developed historical background. Fun.

  5. HKFanatic's rating of the film Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen

Stylistically, it's a bit all over the place and once again the anti-Japanese sentiment is over the top - but if you want to see a 47-and-still-fit-as-hell Donnie Yen kick a bunch of ass in a Kato mask, then this is your movie.
