Very good short that deals with boyhood, love and that clash that happens when children have to learn how to navigate in an adult world, growing up. Or just a very clever device that lets us look at a relationship, from a naive, skeptical, saboteur point of view. Either way, it's a beautiful piece of cinema.
It is a simple nice exercise, but it describes Truffaut's Nouvelle Vague form beautifully. It is also open to a slow analysis. 18 minutes of what can easily be the beginning of your love affair with french cinema. At least, that's what I think he was wishing any of us could one day say.
