Last year we had the miserably overwrought, overly sentimental trite that was "Heaven is for Real," and this year, we have the equally dismal "Little Boy." This film isn't so much offensive for its portrayal of the time period (1930's America/post-Japanese internment camps) but more offensive in that it needs to spell out everything for the audience. A film for the AARP crowd that gets out to the theater once a year.
